In an effort to provide an environment that is pleasant, safe, sanitary and
protective for your child during their visit, the following policies have
been established.
- We require children to be 60 days of age or older and to have received
their first series of shots: Diphtheria, Whooping Cough, Tetanus and Polio
Vaccine before using our services.
- Illness Policy:
| You may bring your child with: |
Don't bring your child with: |
- a slight runny nose with clear mucous
- an infrequent cough
- temperature under 100 |
- a cloudy or green runny nose
- a congested cough that's frequent
- a temperature over 100 degrees
- head lice
- diarrhea |
If your child has missed school because of illness, they
are also too ill to be in our childcare facility.
- Children must be signed in and out by
their parent/guardian for insurance purposes. Please do not
have your child sign themselves in. The child's first and last name
are to be written, as well as the time you arrive.
- Parent/Guardian must remain on the premises while child is in
our care. Children will not be released to anyone other than
their parent/guardian.
- For your child's safety, once a child is walking, shoes are to be
worn at all times.
- Dangerous toys, such as balloons, guns, and sharp objects are not
allowed. If your child brings their own toy and uses it inappropriately,
the toy will be put up and given to you when you pick up your child.
If your child returns with the toy at a later session we expect the
toy to be used in an appropriate manner.
- We request that chewing gum not be provided to your child.
- PBAC is not responsible for items brought from home, in the event
of loss, breakage, or theft.
- Label all belongings. We do not provide diapers, wipes or snacks.
Please bring whatever your child needs.
- Children are not allowed past the front desk area. Please
do not take your child into the locker rooms, pool area or work-out
areas.
- We ask that all children respect childcare providers, other
parents and their playmates. We also expect the children to be polite.
If your child is disruptive he/she will be given a "time out" and
then be asked to apologize to his/her playmates. If the disruption
continues, you will be called from your workout.
- In order to provide adequate care, it is necessary to limit the
number of children on the premises. Childcare Staff may on occasion
further limit this number because of additional demands incurred by
several babies.
We welcome questions and suggestions. Please direct these to
Sandy Matson, the Child Care Director.
Welcome, once again, we hope your children will have many hours of
enjoyment here.
